Calgary Seniors’ Resource Society

At Calgary Seniors’ Resource Society, we offer social work services and mobilize volunteers to provide practical, social, and emotional support to isolated and vulnerable seniors. As service providers, it is essential and our responsibility to ensure we are creating a safe space for staff and clients to access our services. It was so important for our organization to attend the Safer Spaces training because it provided us with the starting tools to create safer spaces for our 2S-LGBTQ+ staff and senior clients so we can become a more visible and active ally.
