For CHATS the Safer Spaces training reinforced one of our corporate values. We show respect, responsiveness, and responsibility in all we do, to those we work with and for. We value and appreciate diversity and inclusivity. This training was the beginning of a journey to create a safe and inclusive environment for our clients and increase access to services for the LGBTQ community. We were proud to have 100% of our leadership team and 30% of our front line staff participated in the training program; and we continue to implement best practices to make structural changes, and utilize tools and resources provided to increase cultural competence across the organization.
