The Safer Spaces training we received as an organization was invaluable. The presenter was personable and create a space that was safe, entertaining and allowed for free and open discussion where participants could ask questions in a non-judgmental atmosphere. The guest speaker was phenomenal and hearing her life experiences put a face to the bias and stereotyping that occurs in society.
The training provided our employees and management with a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the LGBTQ+ community and the language that helps create and foster a more inclusive workplace. By initiating discussions about inclusivity, it helps us learn and understand the appropriate language and means to foster an inclusive and positive workplace culture.
